Monday
Men’s Discipleship –Pastor Jim will lead the group in a John Piper study followed by a personal time of interaction. All ABC men are invited to attend.
Wednesday
NOTE: The regular Wednesday schedule will be postponed due to the Thanksgiving holiday. KidMo, Student Impact, and community groups will resume on Wednesday, December 3. (The regular Wednesday schedule is printed below.)

Community Groups
ABC's community groups meet on Wednesdays for worship, an in-depth look at the sermon/Bible study, prayer, social interaction, and outreach. Two groups are available at the present time. (See information below.)Friday

Upcoming Events
The Nominating Committee will meet in Pastor Jim's office on Sundays, November 23 and 30, immediately following the worship service.
6th Annual Turkey Bowl is set for Friday, November 28, at 9 a.m. at the BCA football field. This is for young guys, middle-aged guys, and older guys as well. For more details, contact James Bodine at 281-229-8859.
A baby shower, honoring Chrystal Albarado, is scheduled for Saturday, December 6, at 2 p.m. in the ABC chapel. Floyd and Chrystal are expecting a baby boy on January 2. Chrystal is registered at Babies-R-Us. For additional information, please contact Chrystal's sister, Brittany Ford, at 832-881-3590.
Continuing our annual tradition, families will have the opportunity to hang a cross ornament on our Christmas tree on Sunday, December 7th. Please bring your ornament on this day and if you forget, extra crosses will be available so your family will be able to participate. If you would like your ornament returned to you after the holidays, please label the back of the cross with your name and phone number.
The Leadership Team lunch/meeting will be held on Sunday, December 7th, immediately following the worship service with the staff providing the lunch.
Community Groups
ABC's Community Groups meet throughout the area on Wednesdays for worship, an in-depth look at the sermon/Bible study, prayer, social interaction, and outreach. Contact the office or one of the leaders listed to the right for information on how you can become a part of one of these small groups.

Child Care Availability
The ABC nursery is staffed for children ages 3 and under during the worship service and for children ages 2 and under during the Sunday School hour. Enter the single glass door marked “Children’s Ministries.” The infant nursery is the second door on your left, and the toddler nursery is the room on the other side of the double doors at the end of the hallway. A volunteer staff member will provide parents of nursery-aged children with an electronic paging device for communication purposes.
A children's church option is available at parents' discretion during the sermon segment of the worship service for children, ages 4 through Grade 2.
Items of Interest
The church office will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day following. The secretary will also be taking a couple of vacation days in the first week of December -- possibly Tuesday and Thursday, December 2 and 4.
