Community Groups
ABC's Community Groups meet throughout the area for prayer, study, conversation and friendship. The next set of community groups will be organized in the month of May and will meet June through August. Contact the office for information on how you can become a part of one of these small groups.
Child Care Availability
The ABC nursery is staffed for children ages 3 and under during the worship service and for children ages 2 and under during the Sunday School hour. Enter the single glass door marked “Children’s Ministries.” The infant nursery is the second door on your left. The toddler nursery has been relocated to the office building (the third room on the left).
A children's church option is available at parents' discretion during the sermon segment of the worship service for children, ages 4 through Grade 2.
Items of Interest
Sermons from our worship services are available for listening (at no charge) on our website at www.ABCBaytown.org. However, if you would like a CD or audio-cassette copy of a specific sermon, please contact the office at 281-421-2150 or email Judy at office@abcbaytown.org. (Cost: $3/CD; $2/tape)
Be sure to stop by the information table on Sunday to pick up a copy of ABC's "Book of the Month." The featured book for the month of March is R.C. Sproul's "The Holiness of God" at a cost of $2/each. It is our hope to make good books available to the church family each month at our cost. To reimburse the church for a book, simply place the amount listed on the sign for the book you are purchasing in an offering envelope and drop it in the offering plate or the wooden box located on the book table. If you pay by check, please make your check payable to "ABC" and write "book" in the memo portion of your check.
Nursery volunteers -- If you would like to serve the Lord by providing care for infants/toddlers on one Sunday morning each quarter or by serving as a nursery substitute, please contact Laurie Black at 832-541-9332.
Diaconate On-Call Personnel for March 7 week: Sandy Allen -- 281-425-9822
Nounouma Unreached People Group -- Our church "adopted" the Nounouma (aka Nuna, Nuni) UPG about 15 years ago as a prayer endeavor. Our Administrative Committee approved the Nounouma as a special giving project so if you would like to make a tax deductible donation to the C&MA missionaries who work with them, please make your check payable to ABC and write "Nuna" on the memo portion of your check or on a giving envelope. Steve and Debbi Clouser, our missionaries, will use our gifts for specific needs that the Nounouma people have. (To see a chronicle of emails/pictures that the Clousers have sent since 2006, contact the office.) For more information on this unreached people group, check out www.joshuaproject.net and put "Nuna" in the search box.
