Harvey and Serving

Serve the poor

Benevolence is defined as an act of kindness or generosity. It is a provision for basic necessities of life to needy believers including food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and other types of assistance to the poor or destitute. Jesus likened such ministry to the needy, in His name, as ministry to Himself:

"For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you invited Me in. 36 I needed clothes and you clothed Me; I was sick and you looked after Me; I was in prison and you came to visit Me."

Matt. 25:35-36

It's our intention to live out our faith by blessing the needy in Jesus' name. Benevolence is distributed in keeping with written policy and is managed by our benevolence team. Contact our church office if you are interested in this ministry.
